Project Summary
Pavement rehabilitation and select curb and gutter replacement of Emerson Ave, Sylvandale Rd, Sylvandale Court S, Sylvandale Court, Laura Street/Court, Ivy Falls Court, Maple Park Dr, and Ivy Hill Drive. Utility improvements include watermain replacement within the project area and select improvements to the storm sewer network for drainage improvements. Improvements to Ivy Hill Park include rehabilitation of the existing parking lot and improvements to the existing basketball court.
Project updates
Turf restoration project-wide remains a top priority for City staff and the contractor. The contractor treated for weeds late in the summer and has been continually adding topsoil and seed in areas with insufficient turf growth. Growth will be monitored and addressed as needed throughout the fall.

Utility and roadway improvements were completed in 2024. Turf restoration will continue to occur through the fall of 2025.

An Assessment Hearing was held at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at City Hall. Notifications were mailed to properties included on the proposed Assessment Roll.
