Parks & Facilities

The City of Mendota Heights has a large system of recreational and open spaces in the community.  These include regional trails, riverside and lakeside parks, scenic bluffs and a nature preserves. These facilities represent unique features in a park system that helps to shape the character of Mendota Heights.

Mendota Heights has 17 public parks as well as open space, including Oheyawahe/ Pilot Knob. These parks and open spaces contain over 295 acres of land area.  There are several opportunities for walking, bicycling, bird watching, cross country skiing, golfing and nature hiking.
