Infrastructure Projects

Rehabilitation of Emerson Ave, Sylvandale Rd, Sylvandale Court S, Sylvandale Court, Laura Street/Court, Ivy Falls Court, Maple Park Dr, Ivy Hill Drive, and Ivy Hill Park. Utility and base course roadway improvements were completed in 2024 with remaining improvements to be completed in the Spring/Summer of 2025.

Rehabilitation of Arbor Court, Bridgeview Court, Mendota Heights Circle, Monet Court, Monet Lane, Pondhaven Circle, Pondhaven Lane, Westview Circle, and Westview Terrace. Utility and roadways improvements were completed in 2024.

Rehabilitation of Apache Court, Apache Lane, Apache Street, Aztec Lane, Cheyenne Lane, Creek Avenue, Decorah Lane, Fox Place, Havenview Court, Hokah Avenue, Keokuk Lane, Mohican Court, Mohican Lane, Nashua Lane, Navajo Lane, Ocala Court, Ocala Lane, Pagel Road, Pontiac Place, Pueblo Drive,  Pueblo Lane, and Friendly Hills Park. Roadways north of, and including, Decorah Lane are slated for construction in the summer of 2025 and roadways south of Decorah Lane are slated for construction in the summer of 2026.

The Kensington East Street Improvements project has been combined with neighboring roadways north of Mendota Heights Road and will move forward as the Hampshire Estates Street Improvements. The project is currently in the feasibility stage and is slated for construction in summer 2026.

Pavement rehabilitation and select curb and gutter replacement of Abbey Way, Canton Court, Hampshire Court, Hampshire Drive, Haverton Circle, Haverton Road, Morson Circle, Park Lane, Pond Circle E, Pond Circle W, and Winthrop Court. Utility improvements include select replacements to the storm sewer network for drainage improvements. Construction of a trail along the north side of Mendota Heights Road between Hampshire Drive and Pond Circle W and a striped crossing of Mendota Heights Road at the Pond Circle W/Haverton Road intersection.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law that guarantees people with disabilities have the same opportunities as everyone else to enjoy employment opportunities, purchase goods and services, and participate in state and local government programs.

Under the ADA, the City of Mendota Heights is required to review programs, services, and activities to make sure they follow ADA guidelines. The City is also creating an ADA Transition Plan that will outline how any issues identified will be fixed.

Public Feedback survey

The public feedback survey is now closed. Survey submissions will be used to inform the final ADA Transition Plan.

The project team created an interactive map that shows city-owned curb ramps, accessible pedestrian signals, and sidewalk evaluation points and if they follow ADA standards. The public comment feature is now closed, and comments will be used to inform the final ADA Transition Plan.
