Code Enforcement

Planning staff handle zoning-related code enforcement, including maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Please contact City Hall with any questions at 651-452-1850.

To report a code violation, please use the Property Maintenance Complaint Form. 

Zoning & Subdivision Information

Planning staff can help explain the City’s zoning rules and subdivision regulations, including where zoning districts are located. Titles 11 and 12 of the City Code is available for review online.

Open to Business Program

Open to Business is a free program that supports new and growing businesses in Mendota Heights.

Business owners and entrepreneurs can get:

  • One-on-one advice from expert business consultants

  • Access to small business loans

This program is offered through a partnership with:

  • City of Mendota Heights

  • Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA)

  • Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD)
