Metropolitan Airports Commission Noise Program Office

Through coordinated efforts with communities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area and airport users, the MAC Noise Program Office works to develop effective noise reduction solutions and to provide pertinent, understandable information.  For decades, the MAC has been engaging communities, airport operators and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in cooperative efforts to reduce aircraft noise impacts associated with the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and the MAC's six reliever airports.

MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC)

The MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) is an advisory board appointed to address aircraft noise issues associated with MSP. The NOC is made up of community representatives and aviation industry representatives that provide policy recommendations to the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
