In preparation for work scheduled at the Sibley Gas Plant in Mendota Heights, Xcel Energy will be safely purging propane vapor from some of the tanks. This process will involve setting up a flare to assist with purging; you may be able to see this flare from Highway 13.
Work will start around March 25, 2023 and continue from 7 a.m.– 5 p.m. daily, through the end of April.
