The aerator installed at Rogers Lake is now in operation for the winter months. Aerators are used on many Minnesota lakes during the winter months to help prevent winter kills of fish on shallow lakes such as Rogers Lake. Aeration also improves water quality and protects structures and shorelines from ice damage.
Aerators create thin ice and open water in the area where they are located; please obey the posted warning signs and stay a safe distance away from the aerator location.
