Primary Election Day is Aug. 13, and absentee voting is taking place now. You can request an absentee ballot online, or in person at City Hall, then be sure to return your completed ballot by 8 p.m. on Aug. 13.

To vote in person on Primary Election Day, visit your assigned precinct. New this year, if you are voting in Precinct 4 and previously voted at St. Thomas Academy, your new precinct location is Friendly Hills Middle School, which is also the location of Precinct 5.

General Election Day is Nov. 5. If you live in Mendota Heights, this is when you’ll vote for the next President of the United States, as well as a Mayor (two-year term) and two City Council members (four-year terms).

To file for candidacy in the local election, you must have a residential address in Mendota Heights and file an affidavit with the City Clerk between July 30 at 7 a.m. and Aug. 13 at 5 p.m.
