APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE STUDENT NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSIONS POSITION
Mendota Heights residents are invited to apply for an open position on the Natural Resources Commission.
The Mendota Heights Natural Resources Commission advises the City Council on matters pertaining to natural resources, sustainability, environmental and climate stewardship and opportunities for the advancement of those areas including developing and recommending policies and initiatives that enhance and preserve natural resources within the city.
Applications are now being accepted to fill a vacancy on the commission in 2024, with a term ending Jan. 31, 2025.
The Natural Resources Commission meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm.
Interested applicants shall:
- Be a Mendota Heights resident;
- Be able to attend monthly advisory commission meetings and serve as a liaison between the City of Mendota Heights and the city’s residents.
*Attendance at city advisory commission meetings is an expectation. Absences by appointed commission members in one year should not exceed three consecutive meetings or more than 25% of the commission’s total meetings.
