[ARCHIVED] Trick-or-Teeing Event Brings Community Together

IMG_0238

On Saturday, Oct. 21, the City’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the 3rd Annual Trick-or-Teeing event, from 5-7 p.m. at the Par 3 Community Golf Course. This highly-attended event has become a pillar of the fall season, with mini-golf, treats, apple cider and more – plus the opportunity to show off this year’s costume!

The event is free (no registration required) and geared toward children ages 13 and under; however, residents of all ages are invited to stop by and take in the fall fun, or volunteer to help! Visit MendotaHeightsMN.gov/Volunteer to register.

To ensure the event is safe and enjoyable for everyone, Bachelor Ave. will be designated as a one-way street from Dodd Rd. to Trail Rd. from 4:30 – 7:15 p.m. that day. Parking will be permitted on either side of the street, facing west on both sides. Vehicles can enter Bachelor Ave. from Dodd Rd. and exit by taking a left onto Lansford Ln. or Trail Rd. Vehicles approaching Bachelor Ave. on Lansford Ln. will only be permitted to make a left turn on Bachelor Ave. Additionally, Trail Rd. will be closed to northbound traffic at Sutton Ln. The Mendota Heights Police Department will be on site to help you find your way and ensure traffic is proceeding correctly.

Finally, be sure to bring your own treat bag, to collect candy, allergy-friendly snacks, trinkets and more!
