Early in 2024, the City began work on a 15-year park system master plan. In conjunction with the consultant’s audit of the park system’s level of service, conditions, programing and financial sustainability, the City gathered input from residents through two phases of community engagement.
Now, after 16 months of research and community engagement, a final draft of the 2040 Park System Master Plan is available for the community to review. The plan itself is featured on pages 1-29 of the document, with numerous appendices outlining the research to support it.

The consultant will present the final plan to the City Council for consideration of acceptance at the Tuesday, June 17 meeting.
