Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the City of Mendota Heights! Volunteering presents a rich opportunity to serve in an area that you are passionate about, meet new friends, and support and enhance our local community. You can also learn about city operations, services, and programs, get to know city staff, and build connections with neighbors.

Volunteer opportunities are available for adults and juniors. Junior volunteer opportunities will vary based on minimum age requirements for some of the volunteer programs or activities. Our volunteer opportunities appeal to a wide range of interests, such as public safety, the environment and natural resources, parks and recreational event support, and more. As volunteers register, the city will continue to evaluate feedback on what types of activities volunteers are interested in, and may develop programs to expand into other activities moving forward.

Current opportunities include:

To get started on becoming a volunteer, complete the online Adult or Youth Volunteer Contact Form. After submitting the contact form, depending on the service position and volunteer level, onboarding may involve an interview, background check, orientation, and training before your volunteer service can begin. Thank you for considering to serve this wonderful community!
