Recreation Fee Assistance Program

The Mendota Heights Recreation Fee Assistance Program provides financial assistance to eligible Mendota Heights Residents for participation in City of Mendota Heights sponsored recreation programs.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Mendota Heights Resident
  • Recipient must be under the age of 18
  • Recipient must participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch program in District 197 or have a parent on active duty in the military
  • Provide oneof the following as documentation, along with the application:
    • Copy of eligibility notification letter from ISD 197 Child Nutrition Office; or
    • Documentation of parent on active duty in the military

Assistance Amount

  • Assistance of up to $150 per child, per calendar year
  • Recipients will receive a 50% reduction in cost for each Mendota Heights recreation program they register for

Eligible Programs

  • Skating, gymnastics, summer playgrounds, safety camp, tennis camp and golf camp
